The Alacrity is a popular bilge keeler, 18'6" in length, originally designed by Peter Stephenson and produced by Hurley Marine for Russell Marine Ltd., and after 1972 produced by Russell Marine themselves. Over 1000 were made in total. They are often referred to as an Alacrity 19, or occasionally as an Alacrity 18, and it is a design that has stood the test of time with many boats still delivering safe and stable service. The cabin offers accommodation for three adults in individual berths, although many have seen modifications to their original layout according to the needs of their owners.
